Instructor Trainee is a 600 hour program that will qualify you for examination for licensure in the domain of Cosmetology Instruction. This program takes approximately 20 weeks to complete. A current Class CA - Hairdressing and Manicuring, Class CH - Hairdressing, Class E - Esthetician or Class MO - Manicurist license is required to enroll in this program.

Course Outline

  • Basic principles of student teaching – 200 hours
  • Psychology – 50 hours
  • Business experience and management – 50 hours
  • Practice teaching – 300 hours – Total Hours – 600

Instructor Trainee – $7,500

  • Non Refundable Application Fee – $100
  • Books – $400
  • Tuition – $7,000
Cost of kit and books are due by the student’s first day of class. If the student is eligible via financial aid, they will receive some or all of this cost back as a credit balance. 
A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due when student completes application.
In-house payment options can be paid via cash, check, or credit/debit card.
